The distributions to other organizations will be in the nature of supplementary educational supplies (books, workshops, school supplies, guest speakers) that further our exempt purposes.

Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota Published Authors Series (published author or, faculty member)
The procedure for oversight of distribution data sure our resources are to further our exempt purposes include being voted on by the board as such. These distributions will be recorded in our yearly reports as to the use of our resources.
We will make distributions to foreign organizations.
Maryknoll Institute for African Studies, East Africa, Nairobi, Kenya (alumni)
Christ the Teacher Institute of Education, East Africa, Nairobi Kenya (program of Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, faculty)
Friends of Jamaica, Caribbean, Saint Mary’s U of MN’s educational efforts (faculty)
Recipients will be informed verbally and in writing that the Pye foundation for literacy and education has ultimate authority to use contributions at our discretion for the purposes consistent with our exempt purposes consistent with literacy and educational support.
We will use additional procedures to ensure that our distributions to four organizations argue and furtherance of our exempt purposes by way of site visits by the board, or compliance checks by impartial experts to verify that grants were distribution bonds are being used appropriately.
